QLD Compliance Overview

Before your property can be legally leased in Queensland, it must meet minimum compliance standards, including:

  • Photoelectric smoke alarms in all bedrooms and hallways
  • Safety switch on all power circuits
  • Water efficiency (required only if you wish to pass full water charges to the tenant)
  • Blind/cord safety
  • Pool safety certification (if applicable)
